Joe began his music studies at the age of four and has been playing ever since. He received his Masters in Guitar Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and has studied with David Tanenbaum, Dusan Bogdonavic, Christopher Parkening, Marc Regnier and others. He has been a featured soloist with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and has appeared on National Public Radio, KDFC 102.1 and KVYN 99.3. Joe toured with Steve Reich, and has performed several solo concerts at the "Spoleto Festival of Music." Currently he holds the position of professor of guitar at Napa Valley College and adjunct professor at several other shcools in the bay area.
