.............“Justine sings like an angel”................ These are the words most commonly used to describe her vocal ability and her connection with audiences. She has taken San Francisco by storm and continues to charm the city with her music and her Canadian wit. She grew up in a small town in BC, Canada (262 people to be exact, give or take one or two a year due to birth or death). Her move to the Bay Area has proven to be extremely successful. People have been waiting a long time for voice like Justine’s to come along. She blends folk and pop in a way that keeps everyone listening. She has played live on KFOG (SF's favorite radio station), is a regular performer in the Fillmore Poster Room and has created a fan base all over the globe with her weekly slot in Del Monte Square, at the end of Fisherman’s Warf. She is also a featured artist on the new record label North Beach Records. Founder Dave Zeises and host of WalMart Soundcheck created the label to promote local talent. Justine has worked and recorded with some of the Bay Areas finest musicians and producers. Her EP, which was recorded at the world renowned Skywalker Ranch, was produced by Jason Carmer. (Third Eye Blind, The Donnas) and featured Brian Mantia, (drummer for Tom Waits & Primus) and Joe Gore (guitarist for Tracy Chapman). She’s also collaborated with John Lucasey, producer and owner of Studio 880, and Stephan Jenkins, producer and front man for the band Third Eye Blind. She’s a professional in every sense of the word and continues make herself known in the San Francisco music scene. With two albums recorded and the recent completion of a two-month college tour, Justine is one artist who deserves recognition. Check out her latest country duo project called Laustin.
