32 Sounds - Science on Screen at Cameo Cinema

32 Sounds - Science on Screen

97 mins | Rated TBC

Starring Sam Green, Reid Thomas Bard, Annea Lockwood

Bursting with humor, emotion and curiosity, 32 Sounds is a uniquely mind-expanding plunge into a human experience so many of us take for granted. Unless you’re a musician, an audio engineer or an otolaryngologist (ears, nose and throat doctor), chances are you don’t spend much time reflecting on the miracle of sound. Oscar-nominated filmmaker Sam Green takes the audience on a journey through time and space — exploring many things from forgotten childhood memories to subaquatic symphonies — allowing us to experience the astonishing sounds of our everyday lives in new ways.

"You will appreciate (sound) differently after seeing (hearing) 32 Sounds, meticulously constructed as it is to pair relevant, enlightening visuals with a philosophical inquiry into all things audio." Variety
