Starring José Andrés, Scott Sheppard, Ali Allouche, Jennifer Danko
Ali Allouche was seventeen years old when he was diagnosed with cancer. After months of chemotherapy and hospital food, cooking and travel documentaries became his gateway to the outside world. Inspired by his hero, Anthony Bourdain, Ali and his mom planned their own culinary journey across the United States, an adventure waiting for him beyond his hospital walls. Ali was welcomed by the best restaurants and chefs from across the country—including José Andrés and Wolfgang Puck. Ali Eats America is a tearful, funny and honest story about living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis.
