Co-Director Brianne Dougherty and Co-Director Gregory Purpura are first-time feature documentary directors and real-life partners with backgrounds in arts administration and cinematography, based in Brooklyn, New York. They spent a harvest season embedded with a new generation of winemakers in the Auvergne.
Bouquet Days marks a pivotal turning point for Dougherty, who left her career in the nonprofit arts world to pursue a growing passion for winemaking and bring the vision for this project to life. It also represents a transition for Purpura, who is stepping into directing after years of working as a documentary director of photography.
