SOLD OUT Cabali And The Tiki Mug Obsession explores the colorful subculture of Tiki enthusiasts who create and celebrate and collect ceramic drinking vessels known as Tiki mugs as well as the artists that create them. The film follows Doug “Fini” Finical – a man with a dream – as he assembles a team of craftsmen and artists to build a Tiki bar dedicated to his overwhelming collection of mugs. At its core Cabali and The Tiki Mug Obsession is about community, passion, and purpose.

Director Bio
Josh Dragotta is a director and editor with over two decades of experience, whose films have screened at festivals nationally and internationally. His editorial work in theatrical advertising has earned Clio Awards, with projects including Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Bullet Train, and Severance. He began his career editing short-form documentaries for titles such as Murder on the Orient, The Magnificent Seven, and La La Land. His most recent editing work includes short films for The Carter Center celebrating President Jimmy Carter’s 100th birthday, The Kennedy Center Honors recognizing Barry Gibb, Renée Fleming, and The Grateful Dead, and the Mark Twain Prize for Comedy honoring Kevin Hart and Conan O’Brien. His latest film, Satan’s Angel: Queen of the Fire Tassels, was an official selection of Outfest, and his work as both director and editor reflects a passion for immersive, escapist storytelling through sound and image.
